RISE AND SHINE | CITY OF GOLD

Given, these hot seasons we have had this year. We can't withhold ourselves from fall and even worse.. winter. It is no secret that I'm not a fan of these two seasons. Simply because my body cannot stand cold weather. On top of that I don't think that I need to experience temperatures below 23 degrees. Right there in the middle is were some comfortable stay-ups come in handy to support me through these seasons.

I hope you’re having a great week so far. As I am writing this post straight from my apartment in Dubai, I can't get enough of this gorgeous view and absolutely want to share my trip with you guys.

Firstly, as far as I’m concerned it is still winter, right? Well, here in the City of gold it’s certainly not cold compared to Europe but also not extremely hot. The temperature reminds me of a great summer in Europe. The locals in Dubai calls it the coolest season in Dubai.. Well I can’t imagine what the summer would be like because in my mind it would be extremely hot to the 10^th degree, LOL.

This afternoon I had a meeting and after that we decided to go to Atlantis, the Palm, that’s by the way a resort where they also filmed some famous Hollywood & Bollywood movies. So our private driver picked us up, at our apartment, and showed us around. We've been to Georgia Aquarium the largest and most famous Aquarium in the world housing more than 100.000 sea creatures. Wherever you travel or stay in Dubai you won’t be far away from skyscrapers at all stages of constructions. Our driver knew how he could captivate us with his tour and all the futuristic designs of the buildings that appeared before our eyes, WOW! One thing is for sure the skyline is constantly changing and there is nothing you can compare Dubai with, they’re just so far ahead in time! I love to discover new places and Dubai has always been on the top of my travel wishlist.
